Today, September 10, it is impossible to park, it is full of cars. It is better that you do not set up an area and leave the parking lot. A shame.

very nice place with all the free amenities a little traffic be careful of the branches to access this area

**We were here during the Coronavirus pandemic on our way to catch the ferry. The town was quiet with everything closed. This is a small tarmac parking area with 5 dedicated motorhome parking spaces. It's quite a tight fit as it's sandwiched between a barrier and a dirt bank on the road side. There are 2 entrances and we took the one at the roundabout beside the services as the other is on a slope and will catch the back of our motorhome. The dedicated spaces are slightly dipped forward if you reverse in. Some people used chocks and some didn't. The parking is NOT suitable for really large motorhomes or motorhomes with trailers. The maximum stay is 72 hours. Pros: Free parking. Free full services excluding electricity. Local Carrefour supermarket. Some shade. Cons: Be careful of the side road entrance. There are free full services excluding electricity. The grey drain has good flow direction into the center grate. The black WC drain is on the right side of the concrete service pillar about 300mm off the ground under a small round steel cover. The drain pipe is large with no splashback. The cassette push button tap is to the left of the drain and has reduced pressure hence no splashback. The fresh water push button tap on the far left of the concrete service pillar is a medium screw-on connection with excellent pressure. There is a large bin in the parking area. Because we were only staying 1 night during the lockdown we did not go anywhere. The next day leaving Dax we did some essential shopping in the large Carrefour down the road. Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..) We did not encounter any mosquitoes here in end of March.
