If like us you want to visit the city, be prepared. On a Saturday afternoon in October the area was full. Fortunately a motorhome driver who was turning around showed us a parking spot. We were able to visit the city on Sunday as planned. My advice: Plan your trip in advance, there doesn't seem to be any off-peak periods in Carcassonne.

Very quiet and comfortable place to visit the city, it is usually full but there is mobility, now in September 16 euros

19.70 € without electricity really too expensive especially for a municipal area we stayed there because we were tired to go elsewhere

Great rest area. A bit expensive considering there is no electricity! In 15 minutes on foot you are in the center of the medieval village
